Nancy established this
service and is pleased
to provide one
hour or less of home care
assistance. In one hour
we can provide personal
care, meal preparation,
light housekeeping,
laundry and a bed change with
time left to walk the
dog. This is a popular
service and can be
implemented several
times daily to the
individual requiring
daily monitoring with
minimal supervision.
Our 24 Hour specialized care
covers every service we offer.
If you have a special
request, please ask Nancy.
We escort our clients to
church, bingo, senior
centers and adult day care.
Additionally, we accompany
the client to family outings
to enjoy reunions, weddings,
graduations, birthdays,
barbeques or a weekly
scheduled dinner with the
family. Included is the
assistance of home
maintenance where we find
general contractors for our
clients when repairs or
remodeling is required.
We are an animal friendly
agency and look forward to
assisting you with your
"well behaved" pet. Nancy
has had dogs and cats all
her life and can't imagine
being without one.
Maintaining a pet has been
proven to enhance the well
being of our elderly both
physically and emotionally.
< Client, Dr. Lawrence
Coleman, APEC caregiver Pat Butts
and "Skampy".
This service is provided
directly by Nancy or an
Administration Assistant. We
can assist in banking,
paying bills and balancing
checkbooks.
Questions to ask when
researching agencies:
A.
Are you accessible twenty
four hours daily, three
hundred sixty five days a
year? (24/7 - 365) (This
does not include Hospice
Agency Assistance)
B. Do
you guarantee coverage for
my loved one? Some agencies
offer 24 hour care but
require family members to
provide coverage if the
employee calls in sick or
fails to arrive for their
scheduled duty.
C.
Does the agency provide
any/all Medical assistance
to my loved one? Some
agencies only provide daily
activities and do not have
the licensing to offer
medical attention with
skilled Nursing.
D.
How long have you been in
business? Who is the Owner?
Administrator? Is this
individual available 24/7?
E.
Are your staff licensed,
insured, bonded and
experienced? Do you require
criminal background checks,
BEAS checks, (Bureau of
Elderly & Adult Services)?
(This informs the agency if
the employee has a record of
abuse, neglect or
exploitation). Driver's
Records? Are your staff
employees or contractors?
