Nancy Best is the Founder, Owner and Administrator of Autumn Passages Eldercare--a home care agency dedicated to personally serving the needs of older persons in the Monadnock Region for the past 22 years.

A 36 year Monadnock Region resident with a nursing and business background, Nancy has established the company based on her love of caregiving, our present elderly population and the potential need of future baby boomers.

In addition, she has generously supported the public through her work as both a hospital and hospice volunteer, scout leader and is a member of the Monadnock Humane Society where she and her Lab Lupine have received therapy dog training.

Nancy's commitment to the Community is evident in every facet of her professional, personal and volunteer endeavors. She works hard to ensure that every individual has an opportunity to live fully in their own home/alternate residence. When present living conditions can no longer accommodate their lifestyle, Nancy has all of the resources available to help families get through the difficult decisions they must make when living at home is no longer an option.

The employees of Autumn Passages were asked to write short biographies for this page. Amazingly, they all repeated the same themes over and over again. They all love their jobs because they share owner Nancy Best's genuine desire to help people. Autumn Passages employees tend to have their roots firmly established in the Monadnock Region. Compassion and integrity are their defining characteristics. They are "family people" and they understand the power of a smile, for both the sender and the receiver.
