The beginning of the process is a personal consultation with owner Nancy Best or her son Phil, where Autumn Passages Eldercare and the client create a customized care plan specifically designed to accommodate the needs of that one unique individual and his or her family.
 

 

Nancy's son Phil has been an integral part of Autumn Passages since 1997. As the Assistant Administrator he offers the same personal approach of the company philosophy and shares his knowledge of business and home care with clients, families and staff alike.

 
 

The process is supported by a cast of thoroughly screened, trained and experienced employees. These individuals are dedicated to uphold the high standards of service set by Nancy, who as an active owner is accessible 24 hours a day.

A client is much more than a name, number, or assignment to Autumn Passages. The client and his/her family are integral components in the entire process. As is the case in anyone's life, the little things can make the big difference. 

And in this case, the difference is evident through the attention to details achieved by Nancy and her core staff members, who are always involved in the initiation of services for a client. Nancy and/or her core staff are intimately familiar with the details of each client's care plan, then, Nancy and/or such a staff member introduce a caregiver to the client and provide a personalized tour of the residence. Every attempt is made to match clients and caregivers for maximum comfort and compatibility. 

 

 

 


And... any future caregivers are guided by the staff in the same manner, thus, the client would not experience the burden of "training" an unfamiliar person in his/her home.

More evidence of the commitment made by Autumn Passages Eldercare is reflected in the staffing practices by their respect for the client. On-call staff are available to fill emergency gaps when client/staffing situations arise and every possible attempt is made to notify clients of such unexpected deviations. Additionally, nothing speaks louder than the fact that Nancy, Phil or Bonnie are available to the clients, family members and staff 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. 

Truly, Nancy strives to ensure that every individual has an opportunity to live fully in their own home or present residence. When living at home is no longer appropriate, she has all of the resources available to help families get through the difficult alternatives for placement.
