About A-Cure Healthcare Solutions, Inc

A-Cure Healthcare Solutions has served the Chicago area for 17 years, offering a full range of home health services including skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work support, and personal care assistance. As a Medicare-certified agency, they coordinate these services to help older adults and those recovering from illness maintain independence at home.

What to expect

After a hospital discharge or on your doctor's referral, a nurse will visit your home to assess your parent's needs and set up a care plan. Depending on what's prescribed, licensed therapists or aides will visit on a regular schedule—typically one or more times per week. Visits are scheduled around your parent's routine, and the agency coordinates with your parent's doctors to adjust the plan as their condition improves.

Frequently asked questions

What happens during the first visit?

A nurse performs an assessment—checking your parent's health status, medications, home environment, and specific care needs. This visit usually lasts 1-2 hours and establishes the foundation for their care plan.

Does Medicare cover home health services?

Medicare covers skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, medical social services, and home health aide visits when prescribed by a doctor and medically necessary. A-Cure handles Medicare billing directly; your parent typically pays nothing out-of-pocket for covered services.

How are visit schedules decided?

The doctor's orders and your parent's recovery plan determine the frequency and type of visits. A-Cure will work with you and your parent to schedule visits at convenient times.

What if my parent needs care changed or more support?

The care team meets regularly and adjusts the plan based on progress. You can request changes anytime, and the case manager will coordinate with doctors if additional services are needed.
